Meet Director of Physical Plant, Frankie Chastain

Commitment and dedication to our residents and one’s own calling is a personal trait that we highly value at Oaks Senior Living. Few exemplify such traits as well as OSL’s Director of Physical Plant, Frankie Chastain. 

Frankie’s journey with the Oaks started in 2006, where he was a Maintenance Director for assisted living and memory care community in Woodstock Georgia. From then, Frankie continued to hold the role of maintenance director of multiple communities, until 2021 when he was promoted to his now current position, Director of Physical Plant. However, his love the senior population began many years before starting at Oaks Senior Living. 

In 1996, Frankie started to work with seniors for the first time when he took a security officer position at an Independent Living community in Marietta Georgia. The 3 years that he was there, Frankie had the opportunity to establish relationships with a number of residents; creating bonds that have impacted him to this day. This entry experience into senior living gave Frankie a newly found respect for our aging population and propelled him to pursue a career in serving seniors. 

After 18 years with Oaks Senior Living, Frankie continues to commit himself to his work and the many residents he serves. By supporting each Maintenance Directory located at Oaks Senior Living communities throughout the southeast, Frankie ensures buildings are well maintained, resident needs are met, and all life safety measures are enforced. The family like culture and opportunity to bless the lives of residents is what keeps Frankie steadfast in his service to OSL communities. 

When Frankie isn’t maintaining and improving communities, he is spending time with his family. He enjoys cookouts, lake days, and poker nights with his beloved family. Frankie is also extremely passionate about music and is the lead singer of an 80’s rock band. His interest in singing and playing guitar started at the age of nine, and until this day, he performs live with his band mates. 

As a key member of our Oaks Senior Living family for many years now, our gratitude for Frankie has only increased year over year. His heart for seniors and steadfast service embodies the ideal Oaks Senior Living team member. Thank you, Frankie, for the invaluable work you do for our communities.
